It’s a new year and here at the Capricorn Theater, I’m looking forward to the time ahead and I’m writing my first (future) year in cinema. Both what I’m looking forward to seeing in cinemas and what I’ll have on the site from home video releases. For the last year, I’ve been busier than ever writing on my site. Over thirty reviews and posts which is more than what I had posted in the previous six years or so before that. This might be worthy of a pat on the back, I’d like to do better. While this will read in parts like a wish list, I would stress that some of the cinema releases may not be released here in Ireland so they might end up as video reviews. So here’s what this year holds in store for the site.
One of the early 80’s slashers, Madman is soaked in the myth of the evil that lurks just beyond the treeline. A group of camp counselors are packing up the kids in their charge for the end of the summer and responsible adult Max tells one more ghost story at the campfire. But in true form, the tale they tell is real. Madman Marz killed his family, was lynched by the townspeople and then escaped into the woods around his house. He’s not been seen since but if you say his name above a whisper, he’ll get you. They do. He does.
So I’m assuming you’ve read the About pages and there’s no need to explain this podcast further. But those you are lazy, then I’m not helping you.
This podcast is about my favorite movies from the 80’s. Both the ones I saw as a child and also the ones I discovered when I was old enough to watch them(yeah I’m normal like that).
So without further ado, here’s a peek at what’s coming soon:
See ya soon!
